Tailoring & Fashion Skills

The Craft This Academy Was Built On

Hands guiding pinstriped fabric under the needle of a sewing machine

Nicks Creations began as a sewing and skills centre, and tailoring is still taught here the way it was then — measurement by measurement, from a flat pattern through to a finished, properly pressed garment.

Over eight weeks you draft patterns to real body measurements, handle a machine with confidence, and construct a complete garment, closing with the alteration work that turns a good fit into the right one.

  • Pattern drafting to real measurements
  • Machine handling and stitching
  • Construction, alterations and finishing

Eight weeks, next intake September 2026, on-site in Puchong. Machines and workspace are provided; you bring your fabric. Beginners are genuinely welcome — most students arrive with no sewing experience at all.

Why Students Finish This Programme

  1. 01

    You Make Real Garments

Every technique is learned on a piece you are actually making. Students leave with finished work they can wear or sell, not a folder of practice samples.

  2. 02

    Documented, Step By Step

Each student keeps a record book of patterns, measurements and construction notes — a reference you will come back to long after the course has ended.

  3. 03

    A Skill That Earns

Many of our tailoring graduates go on to take in alteration and made-to-order work. The programme is taught with that outcome in mind from the first week.
